Deploying a mobile solution brings a variety of challenges which need careful consideration. One of the greater challenges is the management of mobile assets once they are in the hands of a remote fieldworker, who is dependent on the device to do their job. At TBS Enterprise  Mobility’s recent “Mobilise your Workforce” event, an expert panel session was held to help the attendee’s understand the challenges of managing mobile devices in geographically dispersed locations and discuss what options are available to assist in management of both device deployment and in life management. Several approaches can be taken from the simple “self managed” through to end-to-end management by a third party service provider.  This white paper is the resulting output from that session.
