TBS offers a comprehensive, customised training package to suit your exact requirements. Our hands-on approach, with brief lecture periods, ensures all trainees are fully aware of software and hardware features, thus easing the transition from paper-based to handheld PC working practices.

TBS has learned through its experience in implementing new technology, that adequate training and support is essential during the initial stages of system implementation.

TBS provides training on the equipment and software operation, but we recommend clients supplement our course with their own company-specific training. Training courses at TBS are tailored to the customer`s specific requirements. No two sessions are identical. The course covers the features of the software that are needed to make the transition from paper-based forms to the handheld PC. All training is hands-on with only brief lecture periods.

Course content

For the less technical users, most courses begin with a basic introduction to the hardware and a general overview that is jargon-free and easy to follow.

The courses teach the users how to operate the software. We recommend to clients that a project manager be present for the duration of the training to answer questions regarding business practices and company policy.

Training is offered for individuals or groups of up to six.

Training the trainers

If in-house personnel are available to conduct the training, we develop a training pack. This includes detailed operating instructions with tutor notes, the course schedule, timing guides, and other essential information. The training takes a full day and includes a detailed explanation of the training pack.
